Muslim community leaders have expressed anger about the new EU regulations on Halal meat which they say “demonise” their religious practice of food preparation. The are working with Jewish community members who are also concerned on the continuing pressure on Shechita food preparation techniques that are fundamental when preparing food for observing members of Jewish communities.
