Faith Matters UK tour:
Bringing a convert Hispanic ‘gangsta’ rapper for a series of talks with communities in the UK. Hamza Perez and Faith Matters held a successful series of talks across England in various higher education institutions. Hamza brought with him a powerful sense of being a proud Muslim and someone who provides pastoral care to Christian prisoners in the US. His multi-faith and inclusive work has seen Christians and Jews support him during difficult times post 9/11. It is the story of a person with hope and a desire to create change by working with people of other faith and promoting a strong sense of a Muslim Hispanic US citizen who is proud of his multiple identities.
