Trustees of Faith Matters

The role of a trustee is one which provides stewardship and governance to an organisation and forms one of the fundamental foundations of an organisation. Ensuring that there are checks and balances in the organisation is also a key part of transparency and in ensuring that any organisation meets its core aims and objectives. Whilst we strive to ensure strong transparent governance, sometimes, things unfortunately do not go as well as we would like them to. That is a natural part of an organisation’s growth and one of the reasons why we are always looking to refresh our pool of trustees who can work with the Director of the Faith Matters.

We currently have a board of trustees that provide input into the following areas:

– Finance and accounting,

– Human resource management,

– Partnership development.

However, we are looking for trustees who have skills and a background in (i) marketing (ii) organisational development (iii) accounting and (iv) legal advice.

If you believe that you have the necessary skills to be a trustee of an organisation like Faith Matters which has communities at the heart of its work, please do send your CV and a covering letter to the Director of Faith Matters, Fiyaz Mughal OBE, on info@faith-matters.co.uk. All applications will be considered by the trustee board and we are looking for individuals who have over 4 years of experience in the areas outlined above.

(Note: Before applying, you might want to read the following notes from the NCVO web-site.)
